Jessie has been crafting handmade chocolates for over 15 years and values the sense of community that forms around sharing specialty chocolate. Through WildNorth Creative, she is focused on creating safe, beautiful spaces for healing, connection, learning, and growth. She offers chocolate for seasonal and special occasions, along with 1:1 and embodied group gatherings. Her goal is to support individuals and communities in cultivating well-being and meaningful connection. She is excited to be bringing assorted boxes of these beautiful chocolates to the Awaken Market again this year! 

Alyssa Whetstone is an artist and art teacher spreading the joy of watercolor through her own art and by teaching others to paint. She shares her work through prints, cards, stickers and more. Learn to paint with her watercolor workbooks or by taking a class. 

I started creating small watercolors while traveling, then continued to sketch and paint in my home community. Inspiration often comes from places or nature or people in my world. Thank you for taking a few minutes to wander through my artwork! 

As an avid baker, I decided to jump on the sourdough bandwagon after watching countless videos and tutorials. After making my first loaf, I quickly fell in love with the entire process from the stretch + folds to baking and seeing how each loaf looks! I had so much fun selling at last year's market, and I'm excited to share my love of baking sourdough with you all again this year! 

The comforts of handmade pies & baked goods made with a lot of 🤍 in Saint Paul, Minnesota by Suzy Hanson we believe everyone has a seat at the table, so pull up a chair. Pies are the heartbeat of SBH, but we also have amazing cookies and other baked goods! We will have our winter menu available for you to order from for Christmas gifts for your loved ones. Gluten free options are available, but we are not a designated allergen free kitchen. Gift wrap is also available to make these easy and ready to give! We'll be joined by Scip (Katherine Scipioni of "Custom Cakes by Scip") with her amazing cake creations as well!

On Dec. 14th you can purchase goods, place orders to be picked up at Awaken on December 21st, or shipped no later than Dec. 20th so they arrive to your loved ones by Christmas.

We will be giving 10% of all proceeds back to Awaken this season! 

Nora Dombrock McDonald grew up drawing with Crayolas in Wisconsin, graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 2000 with a bachelor of fine arts, and has been making art in Minneapolis and St Paul ever since. Most of her time is currently spent printmaking, though she tries to make time for watercolor painting every now and then too. Nora finds inspiration in the little moments around us every day; trees, houses, people, minor wildlife, and the occasional song lyric. When Nora isn't holed up in her studio she can usually be found in the kitchen making her three children their 25th snack of the day. 

Our annual youth group winter retreat is happening again this coming January and students are putting forth an effort to raise funds for those wanting to attend. Students will bring their own mix of crafts and goodies to sell for the winter retreat fundraiser. In the past we have seen baked goods, stickers, bracelets, etc.
