Weylin Lee
Visiting Pastor of Teaching and Transition - (he/him)
Weylin recently concluded his ministry at Vox Veniae in Austin, TX after serving 19 years as one of the founding pastors. His gift is blending his embodied presence for pastoral care, his heart for building partnerships, and his mind for organizational systems and structures. He is grateful for the opportunity to walk with and support Awaken in this season of transition. He currently lives in Austin where his self-care involves swimming, movie theaters and hip hop dance class. Weylin is married to Rachel and they have three young adult kids Zachary, Gabby and Clementine.

Art Morrow
Executive Director - (he/him)
Art started in legal publishing prior to serving executive and board roles with churches, missions, and nonprofits. Art is a critical thinker with a passion for Jesus that is evident in his heart for prayer and service as an Awaken Kids Community teacher. A Boston Marathon runner, together with Deanna he enjoys international friends and food, English Lit, music and musicals. Art also enjoys all things LOTR, Narnia, Star Wars and Avengers with his adult children Katie and Jonathon.

Cathy Solomon
Director of Spiritual Formation - (she/her)
Cathy serves on staff as Awaken’s Spiritual Formation Director. In bringing leadership to this position, she sees Awaken as a place where people are forming and reforming their faith. Cathy resonates deeply with the contemplative and mystical streams in the Christian tradition. She is married to partner-in-life Jeff, adores her 3 adult children plus their spouses and being a Grammy!

Sara oversees our Kids Community which includes nursery through 5th grade. She comes to Awaken with a wealth of knowledge and experience over the past 20 years in Kids Ministry.

Trevor Daniels
Director of Youth Ministry & Tech - (he/him)
Trevor heads up our efforts for our 6-12 graders at Awaken and our sound and tech on Sunday mornings. Trevor is the life of the party and the perfect ring leader for our budding student ministry. He is married to Jessie and father to Delilah.

Halle delights in leading us in worship on Sunday mornings. She deeply values creating an authentic and empathetic worship environment and takes great joy in building relationships with other artists, tenderly holding people’s stories, and walking with them on their own spiritual and creative journeys. She is married to Kirby.

Sally comes to Awaken with years of experience in ministry, coaching and consulting non-profits. Her role as Director of Community Life reflects her lifelong passion to develop community wherever she finds herself. Her desire is to help everyone feel welcome and connected within the Awaken community. She’s married to Scott and mom to David and Anna.

Operations Manager - (he/him)
Erik oversees the behind the scenes operations and administration at Awaken. He brings 8 years of experience in operations and facility management. He also contributes his creativity to telling Awaken’s stories through social media.

Anne Vining
Interim Pastor of Care - (she/her)
Anne has spent most of her vocational life in some form of pastoral ministry. While she considers herself “retired”, she is thrilled to serve in a very part time capacity on the Awaken team during this season of transition. Anne is married to Gordy Swanson. Their family includes two adult children, one son-in-law and two rescue dogs.

Heather is an incredibly gifted and compassionate person who helps to coordinate all of our Care at Awaken. If there's a baby born, or someone in the hospital she's the person to contact. She has an amazing group of people who volunteer to make and deliver meals. She is married to Dustin and mother to Charlie.

Vanessa Lucius
Sunday Morning Coordinator - (she/her)
Vanessa is a lover and seeker of beauty, who finds it is everywhere (if only we have eyes to see). She brings her creativity and organizational experience to our Sunday gatherings through her leadership of the many volunteer teams that serve each Sunday.
Vanessa is also a visual artist, working primarily in watercolor portraits and nature, and brings this passion to her work with the Artist Community at Awaken. She is honored to steward this thriving garden of artists, cultivating it with care that it may continue to grow and nourish others as it has nourished her.

Micah Witham
Founding Pastor Emeritus
Micah founded Awaken in 2010 and continued to serve as Lead Pastor for 16 years, bringing his voice, passion, and experience as the primary teaching Pastor for Awaken. Micah led our community through the pandemic, through a denominational change, through two different moves, and much more. We are forever grateful for all that he has given to this community, and the legacy he has built at Awaken.
