Welcome to the first Sunday of Advent! This year we’re following the traditional Advent calendar and the words of hope, peace, joy and love as primary ways that the people of God resist and push back against the ways the world is broken and not as it should be. This week Pastor Micah discusses hope as resistance to empire by looking at the complexity, difficulty, and necessity of hope in a world that seems lost in brokenness and violence.
